Cosmetic Procedures
One of the first things people notice is your smile.  If chipped, stained, or crooked teeth are "hiding" the real you, it's time for a smile make over with Kory Wegner, DDS.

A beautiful smile can brighten your life every day, professionally and socially.  And unlike plastic surgery, cosmetic dentistry isn't a major operation.  Imagine coming in for a single appointment or two with Dr. Wegner, and emerging with the smile you've always wanted...no pain, no strain, no time taken away from your busy life.  The results are immediate and dramatic.

Come to Modern Touch Dental for a consultation.  There are many ways we can give you a youthful, attractive, natural looking smile!

Brighten teeth that have lost their sparkle.
Dr. Wegner can treat discolored, stained or aging teeth with our state-of-the-art whitening process.  The treatment can be completed in just over an hour in our office, or you can choose at-home treatments.  A dazzling smile isn't just for celebrities any more. It's for you, because you're worth it.

Cover problem teeth with ultra-thin porcelain veneers.
Think of this treatment as a manicure for your smile.  Veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are custom fitted over your natural teeth.  Dr. Wegner can change the shape, color and length of your teeth in only two visits.  It looks so good you'll wonder why you waited so long.

Dr. Wegner  many times uses porcelain veneers for the same reasons as bonding (to lighten stains, close gaps and even alter crooked or malformed teeth).  They are considerably more durable and stain resistant than bonding.

The veneer is actually a thin piece of porcelain similar in size to a fingernail.  Once it is "bonded" onto the tooth it becomes extremely strong.  Dr. Wegner also blends the veneer in with the remaining tooth structure so that it is unnoticeable to the naked-eye.  Once in place, it looks, feels, and functions just like a regular tooth.

At Modern Touch Dental we can use porcelain veneers to change the shape and color of a single tooth or if necessary, revamp an entire smile.  Porcelain veneers can also be used to correct teeth that have been worn from clenching and grinding.

Please call us at (414) 964-0680 for consultation.  You may ask Dr. Wegner or any of our professional team questions you have about the benefits of porcelain veneers.

Dentures

Ditch ill-fitting dentures with new ones that are even more natural, functional and comfortable.

These are not your mother's dentures.  Dr. Wegner uses new materials that can be custom blended to your skin, hair and eye color to look as if you were born with perfect teeth.  Dentures can also be replaced or relined to correct problems with aging jaws so you can chew without discomfort again. Only you will know these are not your natural teeth.

Porcelain Crowns.
When the size of a "filling" exceeds a certain proportion of the tooth, it must be replaced with a "cap," also called a "crown."  Dr. Wegner likes to use porcelain crowns that look very natural and don't have a dark metal line. Porcelain crowns reflect light with a natural healthy glow.

Go natural with dental implants.
Implants are bridges that are permanently anchored into the jaw. Because there is always a perfect fit, dental implants are almost the same as having your natural teeth back again.  To qualify for implants, you'll need healthy oral tissues and jawbone ridges that are in good shape.  If you're suffering from tooth loss, talk with Dr. Wegner about whether implants are an option for you.

Dental Bonding.
Dr. Wegner uses dental bonding to sculpt individual teeth with a special tooth-like material that looks, acts and feels like the real thing. Bonding is an affordable, quick and painless way to repair many cosmetic flaws or injuries.

Bonding is typically painless and can yield dramatic results in a single office visit.  Essentially, bonding hides any natural flaws through the placement of a thin plastic coating on the front surface of the teeth.

After treating the tooth surface, Dr. Wegner applies a puttylike bonding material that is then sculpted, shaped and colored to suit your needs. A high-intensity light causes the plastic to harden after which the new surface is smoothed and polished.

Bonding can lighten stains, close gaps and even alter crooked or malformed teeth. At Modern Touch Dental we can even utilize it to change the shape or color of a single tooth or if necessary to remake your entire smile.

Turn "Metal Mouth" into a natural smile.

Now there is a new and economical way to restore your teeth by using tooth-colored resin fillings.  The resin is made up of glass particles in a plastic matrix.  Dr. Wegner bonds the putty-like material to the tooth with a high-intensity light.  This hardens the material and allows it to be shaped and polished for immediate use.

Replace old crowns and bridges with metal-free restorations.  There's a huge difference between metal fillings and Dr. Wegner's new porcelain restorations that reflect the translucence of natural teeth.  Your new metal-free crowns, inlays and bridges won't show wear or cause opposing teeth to erode, and fitting the crown or bridge is a breeze.

Many people have had silver fillings placed into their teeth because they had "cavities". These silver fillings are called amalgams.  Amalgam fills the space where the decay in the tooth has been removed.

However, over time, the amalgam corrodes and leaks which blackens the silver, and many times the tooth. This is easily seen as soon as a patient opens his or her mouth and is usually a source of embarrassment for the patient.

At Modern Touch Dental we can provide  you with composite fillings that are made of a porcelain-like material that actually bonds to the tooth for a tight seal. They are strong and stain-resistant, and they are color-matched to the natural tooth, making them "invisible".

Composite fillings also lack the sensitivity that is often associated with silver amalgam fillings. They are especially suited for smaller cavities and for patients who may be allergic to metal fillings.

Once completed, the tooth has a natural appearance and is actually stronger than before due to the strength of the adhesive agent used to bond the resin to the tooth.  Resin restorations not only look better, but they are stronger and last longer than the old silver-amalgam fillings.  Resin restorations can range from $150 to $350 per tooth.
